Japanese Embassy In Mexico
The Japanese Embassy project was conceived by a team consisting of representatives from two cultures, Kenzo Tange from Japan and Rosen Morrison and Ramirez Vasquez from Mexico, in an effort to show the dignity of the Oriental culture in a Western country. The floors are helped by four massive supports, housing vertical circulation and services. Important spaces, such as the Ambassador's office, cantilever over the street below. the functional aspects of the building feature a multi-purpose room suitable for receptions or as an auditorium, and a library and necessary embassy office functions. Parking is provided in the basement. |
